Who is Pool Villas?
Pool Villas is a travel agency with more than 25 years of experience in the rental of villas and appartments. Pool Villas mediates between tenant and landlord. We have an office in the Netherlands and Spain where our team offers personal assistance to our guests in different languages with the aim of creating the perfect holiday for you.
What does Pool Villas offer and where?
Pool Villas rents out luxury appartments, villas and holiday homes with private pool. You can view our complete offer in the menu "Destinations".
How does Pool Villas get its holiday homes?
Some of our holiday villas are self-contained, others we offer in close cooperation with reliable local partners. Pool Villas selects its partners carefully and selects its holiday homes with care.
Why rent a villa or appartment?
A holiday home or villa offers you the possibility to go on holiday with your family, a group of friends, several families or couples together. Of course it is also possible to go on holiday with the family or as a couple.
Your holiday home offers you your own private swimming pool and all facilities. So you can cook or barbecue during your holiday or use the cooking service and many other services and let yourself be pampered.
Freedom and not having to look at the clock is part of your holiday, you don't have fixed times for breakfast or dinner. Renting a holiday home is often cheaper per person per night than staying in a hotel.
How can I make a booking?
A large part of our holiday villas can be booked online 24/7 on our website by clicking on the green "Book now" button at the villa.
If the villa is on request (the calendar will not be shown or is coloured orange) you can request more information by clicking on the "Availability" button.
If you do not wish to book online, you can of course also make a booking by telephone during office hours or contact us via the contact form and we will answer your request as soon as possible.
What is an option?
With an option, the accommodation will be held for you for a few days free of charge and without obligation. You then have plenty of time to consult with family or friends or find suitable flights. Normally you have an option for 2 to 3 days, depending on the destination.
How do I know if the accommodation is available?
Almost every accommodation has its own availability calendar where you can see if the holiday home is available on the dates of your choice. For an explanation of the colours you can consult the colour scheme at the top of the calendar.
If the accommodation does not have an availability calendar, this is most likely at the request of the manager or the owner, or the accommodation may be part of a larger group.
In this case you can check availability by clicking on the 'Availability' button. Of course you can also check availability by contacting us by phone, e-mail or via the contact form.
Why do I see the same accommodation several times in the list for a different number of people?
Some accommodations can be rented at different rates depending on the number of persons.
If you book a larger accommodation for only 4 persons then you book the whole accommodation, it is possible that the unused bedrooms are closed. It is therefore wise to indicate before arrival how many bedrooms you would like to use.
The accommodations have been published several times on the website for a different number of people in order to make them appear in searches from 4 to 6 people. Many owners of large properties accept bookings for fewer people at a reduced rate.
What are the total costs for the accommodation?
If you have searched with arrival and departure dates the rental price will be displayed automatically, this is the rental price together with any mandatory extra costs for the chosen length of stay.
If you wish to calculate the price for a different period, please first go back to the availability calendar to select or enter the desired dates.
All prices including mandatory extra costs, optional extras you can book with the villa and possible discounts can be found under the tab "Prices" in the individual accommodation description.
If no calendar is shown with the accommodation, how do I know the availability or the prices?
In some cases a holiday home may not have a calendar, this is most likely at the request of the manager or the owner, or the home may be part of a larger group. In this case you can check availability by clicking on the 'Availability' button. Of course you can also check availability or prices by telephone, e-mail or via the contact form.
How can I pay at Pool Villas?
By credit card or bank transfer.
If you book online, you will be taken to the payment screen, where you can pay directly.
After booking you will receive a confirmation email with the reservation form. In the reservation form you will see exactly how the rental price is built up and what amount you have to pay and when.
When do I have to pay?
At reservation a deposit of 30% of the rental amount is required. For bookings in our Bali villas a deposit of 50% is required. The remainder of the rent must be paid 6 weeks before arrival at the latest. Extras such as final cleaning, cots, transfers, etc. need to be paid at the time of booking, upon arrival or departure, depending on the extras. This is always specified in a calculation.

In which currency can I pay?
At Pool Villas you pay in Euros. For villas on Bali you usually pay in US dollars. This will be indicated at the time of booking.
Are there any additional costs?
Any additional costs are always mentioned on your reservation form. Some additional costs depend on the service you wish to make use of, for example placing a cot or allowing a pet in the accommodation.
Can I cancel a booking?
Cancellations are often subject to a fee. Please refer to our Payment and Cancellation Policy enclosed with the booking form. Cancellations can be made by telephone or email.
Where can I find the booking conditions of Pool Villas b.v.?
All reservations are subject to our general terms and conditions. A link to the general terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of this page.
When will I receive my travel documents?
After we have received the remaining amount and no later than 3 weeks before departure (provided the payment has been received in full) we will send you the travel documents by e-mail.

Who is my local contact?
On your travel documents, which you will receive from us, you will find, among other things, all information about your local contact person, this can be a local agency or a resort- or villamanager or an owner.
In which languages can I get in touch?
Pool Villas can answer all your questions in Dutch, English, Spanish, French and German. Please note, however, that your local contact person does not always speak your language and therefore you will need to communicate with them in English, for example.
What guarantees does Pool Villas offer?
Pool Villas works with well-established local rental companies that offer services such as maintenance, key management, cleaning, bedding and a helpdesk for questions. Pool Villas supports and advises you in making your reservation, but our service does not stop there, even during your stay we are there for you, the close cooperation between Pool Villas and the local managers enables us to offer you a good and solid service.

Where can I go if I have questions or problems during our stay?
If you have any questions during your stay, it is best to contact your local contact person, who in most cases can help you directly. Many of our local partners have a 24/7 telephone service. If you have any questions for us, we are at your disposal during office hours and via email.
How can I make a complaint?
Of course we hope that you will enjoy a carefree holiday with Pool Villas, but should you unexpectedly discover an error or inadequacy at the destination, you are expected to report this to the responsible service provider, for example the accommodation provider. This can often prevent inconvenience and complaints. Should you have very serious complaints on the spot, you should inform Pool Villas from the destination. In this way, we will be able to resolve the complaint.
Subsequent complaints must be made in writing and this can be done up to a maximum of 2 months after the end of the trip.
